DEATH and THE MEDICINE WHEEL

Life teaches us that, fundamentally, we can trust whatever stage is coming next; it may be a difficult transition, but it allows for new life to emerge. We may get ill if we resist that process. That resistance is usually due to fear of the unknown, and a deep-seated attachment to familiar ways of being. Because life teaches us that we can trust whatever is coming next, it also teaches us to trust death. Life becomes something to look forward to, as does death.

Death belongs in the West of the Medicine Wheel: being on the Blue Road (East-West), it is best seen as a gift from Spirit. I talked about this subject today for the Zoom Medicine Wheel Group I am running. Here is the link to what I said: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjsjT_9TShH3pFRYfupINBLMu797?e=Gdb1ua
