Just saw this film at the Chagford Cinema Club. It's set on the Wind River reservation in Wyoming. An issue it is addressing is that Native American women are the only demographic in the US for whom missing person statistics are not compiled. The film takes the form of a murder investigation. It is gruelling, and very well done. It earned an 8 minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. I particularly liked the friendship between 2 of the men, both of whom had lost a daughter; one was inducting the other into grieving, saying it is necessary if you want to keep your memories of the person who died.
